From planning to implementation
During our partner meeting in Athens, the Sustainable Textile Counselor (STC) team focused on a key goal:
putting our course into action across Europe.

STC – 3rd Transnational Meeting | Athens 🇬🇷

On 21–22 January, the Sustainable Textile Counsellor (STC) partners met in Athens for the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting.

🧵 Alongside project discussions, we carried out a study visit to the Fabric Republic workshop, exploring hands-on practices in textile reuse, upcycling, and circular economy solutions.

Two focused days of exchange, learning, and coordination—turning sustainability from concept into practice.

We worked on how to implement the STC course in a way that truly meets the needs of the textile industry — equipping professionals with practical sustainability knowledge, real tools, and decision-making skills that can be applied in everyday work.

A major focus was accessibility:

✔️ E-learning & self-paced structure
✔️ Flexible schedules for people working full- or part-time

✔️ Learning options for evenings or weekends

Because empowering professionals with the right skills is how real transformation in the textile sector begins. 🌱🧵
